Journalists at Cannes had a lot of fun with the extensive preview for Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, and now that the teaser trailer has officially come online, you can join in! (Yes, the clip leaked earlier today, but the embeds were swiftly stamped out by the Weinsteins.) Jamie Foxx stars as the titular slave, who's freed by Christoph Waltz's bounty hunter with a plan: Foxx will help Waltz dispatch of some big-bounty baddies, and then Waltz will assist Foxx in his quest to free wife Kerry Washington from rotten-toothed plantation owner Leonardo DiCaprio. It looks like a fun blast (we mean that semi-literally, thanks to all the shotgun blasts on view here) with several instantly iconic lines, one of which Fox News will no doubt go into conniptions over. And what about that fast zoom-in on DiCaprio, complete with snake-rattle on the soundtrack? And what about that tagline? Enjoy!
