Fashion people are not known for having a fantastic sense of humor when it comes to themselves, which added an extra level of hilarity to Seth Meyers's opening speech at last night's CFDA Awards. He not only made a Galliano joke within the first two minutes — which was met with nervous laughter and some stony glares — but he also spent a good long time making fun of Marc Jacobs, his Bleecker Street empire, and the Comme des Garçons dress he wore to the Met Gala (you remember — this one). The Jacobs roast continued later in the evening, when Meyers reappeared onstage wearing the dress in question.
