Kate Moss turns jockey outfitter for Glorious Goodwood

She's designed collections for Topshop and created luggage for Longchamp, now model Kate Moss fancies herself as a jockey outfitter.

In between her modelling assignments and appearing in George Michael's new video , the 38-year-old model has found the time to design a set of silks for her model friend Rosemary Ferguson, who will compete in the second Magolia Cup race at Glorious Goodwood.

The charity race, set to take place on August 2 - Ladies Day - will see Burberry model Edie Campbell defending her title.

"'I'm probably mad to be returning as I can't do any better than last year but I couldn't resist a chance to be involved in such a fun experience that raises so much money for charity" said the 22-year-old, who rode to victory on Harrodian Hotshot last year.

Moss's designs, along with those by Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Amanda Wakeley, Sadie Frost, Luella Bartley and Pearl Lowe will be sent off to Allerton's, the leading manufacturer in racing colours, to be brought to life while designer Bella Freud has confirmed that she will be kitting out her friend Trish Simonon.

Radio personality Sara Cox, jewellery designer Phillippa Holland and singer Jade Williams will all compete against horse-mad Campbell.

Last year, a Miu Miu-clad Courtney Love, complete with fascinator, took in the action. We can't wait to see Mossy and co eagerly waving their betting slips trackside this time around.
