While the Olympic flame wends its way to sleety Stratford, and the world's finest fitness fanatics form an orderly queue at immigration, the fashion world is on tenterhooks as it waits to see how it can possibly turn the month-long mega sport-fest into the next most stylish thing to London Fashion Week.
We've covered the various designer kitbags, the supermodels set to perform at the Closing Ceremony and now…? Stadium street style anyone..?
In the absence of anything genuinely fabulous to report on though, leave it to those Absolutely Fabulous girls to do the honours.
BBC America has posted the trailer for the upcoming Ab Fab Olympic special on YouTube and it appears that Edina and Patsy (Jennifer Saunders and National Treasure™ Joanna Lumley), are treating the whole event with customary irreverence.

Eddy has rented her house to a Hollywood A-lister but is still living in it unaware that the Games are about to commence, and somehow before the flame has even been lit the wild pair end up running for glory inside the Olympic stadium, and crash a reception for the likes of Dame Tanni Grey Thompson, Dame Kelly Holmes, and Stella McCartney.
